After School Club Assistant
Bromley Hills Primary School is an LEA controlled school judged to be 'Good' by Ofsted. Founded in 1962 we are currently a one-and-a-half form entry school with 314 children on role, plus a Pre-School. The education and welfare of the children is in the hands of a caring, friendly, hardworking and experienced team of teaching and non-teaching staff. At Bromley Hills, we provide an in-house Breakfast and After School Club provision for pupils attending our school. We currently have a vacancy for an After School Club Assistant to join our team. The role will support the supervision of our children during the after school sessions to ensure their general safety and wellbeing and that attending after school care at Bromley Hills is an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Duties will include delivering a variety of play based activities with the children and assisting in the provision of snacks. The successful candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic and have previous experience of working with children.
Experience of working with children of primary age. Minimum of NVQ Level 2 qualification in play work or childcare, or be studying towards relevant qualification would be desirable. Paediatric First Aid ( or willingness to train) is essential.
