About the role:
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to apply your set of skills to a sector of education which will make a real difference to the lives of children with special educational needs.
Due to high growth and expansion, Manor Hall Academy is recruiting a Compliance Officer to manage the governance structure and enable the Trust to deliver excellent education, care and wellbeing.
Manor Hall Academy Trust is a Special School and Alternative Provision multi academy trust, of 14 schools serving the needs of vulnerable learners.
You will support the Trust’s Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Directors, in addressing the organisations compliance checks and queries, carrying out due diligence, embedding best practices across risk management and ensuring that the Trust are fully informed on the latest legal requirements and relevant standards. You will also provide governance specialist support to the Trust’s Board, Audit Committee and Standards and Strategy Committee.
In this role it is important you are able to remain independent whilst also providing commercial, practical and value-add solutions for the Trust, influencing outcomes positively for all stakeholders.
There is an expectation for the successful candidate to be committed to learning on the job to acquire specialist knowledge to compliment a compliance skills set.
The Trust is committed to safeguarding children and successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check. Our commitment to safeguarding is underpinned by robust processes and checks which are in place across the Trust.
