Kinver High School are recruiting a Science Technician for an immediate start, permanent role, 32.5 hrs or 20 hrs considered.

Term time only 39 weeks, Grade 3.

We are a successful and increasingly popular 11-18 comprehensive school of 620 students, situated in the picturesque village location of Kinver on the western fringe of the West Midlands.

We are looking for a suitably qualified, motivated and enthusiastic Science Technician.  Qualified candidates should be organised, self-motivated and confident as well as being extremely good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills and good IT Skills.

Your role is to support teaching staff in the development and education of students including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate. To coordinate the use and maintenance of practical resources and facilities and to provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the science curriculum.

The successful candidate should have a NVQ2 in Laboratory and Associated Technical Activities (LATA) Educational or NVQ2 School Support Staff, or other appropriate equivalent qualification or experience.
