St Joseph’s Pre-School is a small and popular, governor-led setting in a quiet area of Lichfield.  We have recently refurbished our outdoor learning area and have an ongoing programme of environment enhancement and environment investment.

We are seeking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant Apprentice who will work in our busy governor-led Pre-School.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about working with young children
• Naturally kind and welcoming
• Wishing to learn new skills
• In possession of clear communication and social skills
• A professional, punctual and reliable team member who is willing to work flexible hours.
• In possession of Level 2 Early Years qualification (preferred but not essential)
• Able to work on their own initiative

You will receive ongoing training throughout your apprenticeship with support from the school.

Salary:  National Apprentice Salary (currently £4.30 per hour for apprentices aged under 19 and those aged 19 and in the first year of their apprenticeship)

Vacancy Type:  Fixed Term (dependent on completing apprenticeship qualification)

Working Pattern : Term time only (plus 5 INSET days) - 39.2 weeks - 45.08 weeks paid inc holiday pay

Number of hours:  16 hours minimum per week (term time only)
