Job Details

This post is fixed-term until 31/08/2023 due to project work.

Sandwell Virtual School is seeking to appoint a Lead Advisory Teacher for Vulnerable Children (Children in Care, Previously Looked After Children and Children with a Social Worker) to join their award-winning service.

The successful candidate will take a lead role in ensure that more focus is placed on children with a social worker (CWSW), targeting support earlier on in these young people’s lives and helping improve how they engage with education. This will include advising on the best use of Recovery Funding, leading on multi- agency conversations, developing and delivering high quality training and impact analysis of programmes to raise attainment.

This post requires an enhanced DBS check. Successful candidate must hold a Degree-level qualification in Teaching and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification with QTS.

Hours

27.5 hours per week
