The Role

TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 1 – Working within a Key Stage 1 class (Based at Snitterfield Primary School)
FIXED TERM POSITION (with a view to making permanent) 27.5 hours a week, term time only plus 5 Teacher Days (39 weeks total)
Required as soon as possible until 21/07/2022, potential for extension.
Salary: Band E 5-6

The Governors are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work at Snitterfield Primary School. The post is to support a child in Key Stage 1 with an Autistic Spectrum Condition.

Key Requirements

Key Skills:
•Experience working with children with a range of learning needs, and being able to tailor learning tasks and resources to enable children to achieve
•Excellent communication skills to be able to liaise effectively with other staff, parents and external agencies
•Willingness to develop own professional practice to improve the learning experiences for children
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to interact with children enthusiastically, creatively and flexibly to overcome barriers to learning.
