Colton Hills Community School is looking to appoint a Marketing and Communications Officer.
37 hours per week, 46 weeks per annum.
Actual starting salary: £20,767 Per annum

The role is central to the implementation of all marketing activities and the post-holder will need to be a confident communicator who grasps concepts quickly and can translate them into engaging content suitable for the intended audience and medium.

In addition to crafting news stories, working on publications and website, getting involved in PR and supporting Community Events the post-holder will also take the lead on digital communications, managing the school social media channels and looking after the day-to-day management of the school website.

Working independantly and as aprt of a team, the post holder will need to to be able to work autonomously and have the skills and experience required to support in the production of high quality communications.

- To raise the profile of the school - To develop an overall Marketing Strategy
- Communicate the schools excellent work to all of our stakeholders
- Develop our digital engagement drive with the aim of increasing interaction with our
students, colleagues and the community we serve
- Ensure cohesion of design and branding within and around school

About Colton Hills Community School

Colton Hills Community School is a mixed, non-denominational community secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in Wolverhampton in the West Midlands.  The school is supported by Wolverhampton City Council, has over 1000 pupils, and was formerly known by three other names: Wolverhampton Municipal Grammar School, Graiseley Secondary School, and Penn Secondary Modern. It was established in 1974.  The Headteacher is Ms Julie Hunter.
