Are you interested in working with young people? Do you have the skills to communicate with students in our multi-ethnic 11-16 school? We are seeking a Receptionist / Clerical Assistant to run our busy school reception desk and play a key role within our school administration team.

We are looking for an experienced individual who possesses effective communication skills The role will involve some or all of the following:

• answering the telephone and dealing with queries

• first point of contact for parents and visitors

• maintaining databases

• use of school management system and other software

• monitoring the school enquiry emails

• general pupil and parent letters as required

A willingness to learn and an enthusiasm for working with young people are essential as well as an approachable and professional manner. A sense of humour is essential as is the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment with many interruptions.

This post is covered by part 7 of the immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
