Complex Care Leaver Outreach Support Worker
Full time 37hrs per week
Temporary 12 month contract
Full time salary up to £27,041
As a Complex Care leavers Outreach Worker, you will be working with young people aged 18-24 years old who have left care. The role involves supporting young adults to work through complex issues, progress into independence and to maintain stable accommodation. This role includes multi-agency working as we strive to meet the desired outcomes of our young people and work alongside the Personal Advisers.
Within the role it is essential that you have experience of working with hard to reach young adults and the ability to develop positive relationships. You must have the ability to understand and work with care leavers who have a range of social and emotional difficulties and who can present complex and challenging behaviours.
The role involves providing support in emergency and crisis situations to young adults across Worcestershire, which includes working evenings and weekends. We are looking to appoint staff who are committed and skilled in working with young adults and who can empower them to develop positive change within their lives.
The job description & personal specifications will have more details on the role.
