Job Details
Fixed-term for 12 months due to maternity cover
We are looking for a Social Worker for a fixed-term 12 month contract to cover maternity. You will be working part time (Monday to Wednesday) in a small friendly team of social workers and social care officers to support vulnerable adults in the Rowley area. Currently this post requires working from home but will be based at the Blackheath Library when we start going back to the offices. You will receive a manageable caseload and regular supervision from social care lead officers and support from all the team.

Skills & Experience
You must have a degree in Social Work, Dip SW, CQSW or equivalent, and be able to evidence your Social Work England registration.
A requirement of this post is that any successful candidate must have had a full course of an approved COVID‐19 vaccine prior to starting in the role, or be medically exempt. As part of the recruitment process the successful candidate will need to evidence this requirement.
You will also be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check.

18.5 hours per week
