In the role you would determine a diverse portfolio of planning applications and appeal work.  As part of the role you will ensure that good quality development is delivered, that the service meets performance targets and provide high standards of customer service.  You will need to be educated to degree level in Planning or a related discipline and as a preference be Eligible for Licentiate Membership of the RTPI or be a Corporate Member of the RTPI.  We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who is looking for a career with Birmingham City Council helping to shape our great city.
