Housing Services includes an in-house maintenance team that delivers a range of repairs and planned improvements to homes throughout the borough, ensuring that homes remain safe, and comfortable.
To assist the Project Manager in their daily duties, to effectively manage resources and assets within Housing Maintenance. To Audit EICRS and Rewire works through a third party contractor service standards and financial targets. Assist in achieving high levels of customer satisfaction along with electrical trade colleague’s and contractors performance. Assist in maintaining high levels of communications across the directorate including elected members, customers and their representatives.
Ensuring all electrical and other systems are maintained in alignment with the service specification.
Managing and supervising dedicated third party contractor to EICRS and Remedial works
Taking accountability for the effective management of standards within our social housing estate
Participating in the site and service inspection tours to monitor, analyse and evaluate against quality standards
Liaise with client, subcontractors and partners
Leading contractors in electrical principles and compliance to relevant standards and NICEIC governance.
Ensuring that the results of inspection and testing are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates or reports.
