The Family Solutions Team are looking for an experienced Social Worker on a 12 month fixed term basis.

FST offers solution focused and systemic interventions to children, young people and their families who may be the edge of care. We provide fast response, crisis support to ensure that Children and Young People do not enter foster care when appropriate alternatives can be identified and supported.

We also provide preventative interventions and support to families where there is the potential for family breakdown and support is required to ensure that a need for out of home accommodation is averted.

The Team works across all services in the Trust and supports renunciation plans when it has been identified that young people can safely return home to family or connected persons.

Applicants will need knowledge and commitment to strengths and relationship-based models of working along with some knowledge of Systemic Social Work practice and solution focused working.
