The Role

We are looking to appoint somebody who has the ability to use their own initiative but also to work as part of a team. The Business Manager will work closely with the headteacher, supporting her and working strategically with the Senior Leadership Team.

Key Requirements

The successful applicant will work to support and contribute to the strategic direction of the school and will be highly motivated, hard working with good communication skills and well organised.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the whole school’s administration including finance, procurement, contracts, personnel, premises and health and safety.

Experience of working within an educational establishment, working with SIMS, FMS, Risk Assessments and Health and Safety is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

The contract is for 37 hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks (40 weeks in total). The salary is paid at Scale K, scale points 23-26, ranging from £32,234 to £34,728 (£28,436 to £30,636 pro rata to hours and weeks worked), depending on the experience of the successful candidate.
