The headteacher and governors of St. John’s CE (A) Primary School are excited that an opportunity has arisen for the position of a Deputy Headteacher to support the school community in moving to its next level of school improvement.  We are proud of our children and have a dedicated staff and we feel this position will enhance our developing leadership team.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, committed and highly focused individual.  Experience of curriculum development, whole school data, leading on RE and PP strategy would be beneficial, but ultimately we are looking for:

-A person with drive, high expectations and aspirations for children, families and colleagues;
-A supportive Deputy with the desire to promote and celebrate our Christian values;
-A team player who is passionate about children's learning and keen to see all children inspired and succeed with enjoyment and enthusiasm;
- A person who sees the importance of the wider community in supporting all to flourish.

This is very much a strategic role that will influence practice, motivate teams, ensure accountability and contribute to school development and improvement.

For such a key role we are asking possible applicants to visit the school prior to application. Please email recruitment@stjohnscea.org.uk to book a convenient time.
