Opportunity for a Class Teacher – Great Alne Primary School

0.4FTE fixed term contract until 31st August 2022

Great Alne is a small village school set in beautiful Warwickshire countryside. There are four classes- three mixed age and a separate reception class. We foster an inclusive, caring partnership between parents, staff and children and aim to be at the heart of the community.

The school provides provide a rich and varied curriculum so that pupils of all abilities are helped to achieve in a friendly and purposeful environment.

Each child is given every opportunity to learn to the best of their ability. We aim to create an exciting and learning atmosphere where a child feels confident, secure and valued as an individual.

We require an experienced teacher in our year 3/4 class to work 0.4FTE beginning immediately after February half term. The post is to cover the job share role, that would normally be filled by the recently appointed Headteacher.

Fixed term contract end date: 31/08/2022

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

•A proven professional educational track record working effectively in Key Stage2
•Have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
•Excellent behaviour management skills
•Be committed to working with parents, governors and the local community
•A passion for inclusion
•A love of the countryside and our natural environment and an appreciation of how it can enhance the overall learning experience of the children
•An inspirational attitude towards developing a new vibrant curriculum
•Have experience of leading a subject successfully
