HLTA (Highfields Primary Academy)

We are seeking to appoint a high quality, experienced and committed HLTA, to lead our team of strong Teaching Assistants. Within this role you will be expected to work across the school as needed. As part of the role, you will be expected to cover and teach whole classes and to provide guidance and leadership for the Teaching Assistants.

We are looking for a HLTA who will:

Be able to support other staff and contribute to CPD (e.g. coaching)

Experience of working in a primary school and can work as part of a team and independently
Highfields Primary Academy has an excellent reputation and provides a lively and creative environment in which to work. We gained ‘Good’ in our most recent Ofsted inspection and we are a founding member of Primitas Learning Partnership, a new Multi Academy Trust which seeks to make a positive difference in the local community.

Salary: Grade 7 (£23,541 - £27,041) Actual Salary £17,878- £20,536 approx depending on years service, 32.5 hrs per week, term time only (38 pupil weeks plus 6 additional days, some of which may be required in the holidays), Monday to Friday, Permanent.
