About Us and the Role

Warwickshire County Council has an exciting apprenticeship position in the Employability and Skills team based in Nuneaton. The position will provide opportunity for the successful candidate to work across the team offering admin, customer service and project support in an environment with significant support and training.

 

The apprenticeship

18-month Business Administrator Level 3

During the apprenticeship you will be required to spend a minimum of 20% of your employment hours in off the job training. You will be managed and supported throughout the training and assessment programme.

The apprenticeship will give you a foundation for pursuing a career in administration and acts as a solid platform to explore a number of progressive roles in the Employability and Skills team.

 

You must have

To be considered for this post you will need a basic level of numeracy, literacy and ICT skills, as well as at least five GCSE grades C - A* (4-9) or equivalent, including English and Maths.

 

Skills needed

 

  • Good administration and organisational skills
  • Good interpersonal and sound communication skills
  • Highly developed IT Skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team, under pressure and on your own initiative
  • Be self-motivated with a flexible and positive attitude.
