The Company - Rugby Borough Council makes a difference.
Working for one of fastest growing boroughs in the country, we have ambitious plans to build on our track record of delivering growth and investment, while supporting our communities and creating opportunities for all. We’re proud of our past - after all, Rugby’s home to a game enjoyed by millions around the world.
We’re firmly focused on the future - and we know to make a difference, sometimes you have to do things differently. We have also launched Rugby Net Zero, a commitment to cut the council’s C02 emissions to net zero by 2030 while taking the lead in the borough’s bid to become carbon neutral. And we’ve embarked on plans for a radical regeneration of Rugby town centre, creating a sustainable, thriving urban environment supported by a 21st century transport system and digital infrastructure.

We’re making a difference – and we need people who share our vision and ambition.
Rugby Borough Council invests in its people, offering both time and resources to equip you with the tools to develop your career.  We offer agile working, a flexitime scheme, family friendly policies, generous annual leave, and excellent pension scheme.  We also celebrate difference and diversity, a Disability Confident employer which became the first borough or district council in the country to achieve the ‘excellent’ standard under the Equality Framework for Local Government.
At Rugby Borough Council, we’re doing what’s Right For Rugby. Innovating, changing, making a difference. If you think you’re Right For Rugby, we want to hear from you.
