Chargehand Horticultural Mechanic
We are looking to recruit a Chargehand Horticultural Mechanic to join our Mower Workshop Team which maintains the Council's fleet of horticultural machinery, plant and equipment.
The role has responsibility for the supervision and organisation of the Mower Workshop.
The successful candidate will have relevant practical experience working in a horticultural amenity grounds maintenance repair workshop, as well as in staff supervision. You will hold City and Guilds parts 1 & 2 in agricultural / horticultural engineering or equivalent and be willing to work towards other qualifications required to undertake the role.
You must also hold a current driving licence with Category C1 or equivalent or hold a licence issued on or before 31.12.96.
