We have an excellent opportunity for an IT Officer (2nd Line Support) to join our small and friendly dedicated team of experts providing an IT support and consultancy service to Solihull Community Housing and the Council’s Property Services team.

Assisting in general day to day administration and support for all IT systems and facilities you will also be involved in supporting the PC networks used by SCH, dealing with staff IT problems and enquiries and providing sound advice and support.

To be successful you will have:

  • Experience and knowledge of providing technical IT support to a variety of end users on a wide range of IT issues
  • Great communication skills
  • Customer service skills, including an excellent telephone manner
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative and analytical thinking to solve problems regarding the use of computer systems.

Working 21 hours per week Monday to Friday across office hours, we can be flexible about how you work your hours to fit around any caring responsibilities you may have, as long as work priorities are met.
