Job Details

This role is a Fixed Term contract for a 12 month period

We require an early years practitioner experienced in working with pre-school children with SEN/D on a 1 year fixed term contract.

You will be providing advice, guidance and support to parents/carers, early years practitioners and other professionals, to ensure children’s individual and special needs are identified and met.

You will have in depth knowledge of child development and have experience of working with a range of outside agencies.

You will have excellent communication and time management skills, be able to work independently and as part of a multiagency team, carrying out assessments, action planning and report writing.

You will be required to travel to a range of venues including families’ homes.

This is an ideal opportunity to further develop your skills and knowledge around SEND, working alongside a multi-professional team with an excellent reputation.

There will be a range of training opportunities available. A secondment opportunity would be considered.

You will be required to hold NNEB or BTEC National Diploma in Nursery, Nursing or NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education.

You will also be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check.

Hours

37 hours per week
