Hours : 30 hours per week - term time only

Salary :   Grade 5 (SCP 09-17) £14,577 to £17,080

We are situated next to Doe Bank wood, in a very pleasant area with extensive school grounds.  Barr Beacon is also just on our doorstep!

We are looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Worker in our school to support in addressing the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning. The successful candidate will work throughout the school providing pastoral support and care to children in and out of class.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:-

• Knowledge of the curriculum.
• Ability to support children at all levels especially children who require additional support to ensure they reach their potential.
• Commitment to working within a team to continue to provide quality services for our children and families.
• Good communication skills
• Strategies for reluctant learners

It is essential that you have excellent literacy and numeracy skills as well as recent experience of working within a school setting.
