Sandwell Children’s Trust are recruiting for a Financial & Information Systems Manager to join the Systems Team.

The Systems Team provide developmental, helpdesk and training for the case management recording systems within the Trust – these include LCS, ContrOCC, Early Help and ChildView alongside oversight and data collection for the Supporting Families Programme. They are also responsible for reporting for the Early Help system and ChildView.

As a Financial & Information Systems Manager you will: -

  • Be responsible for managing the Trust’s Children’s Social Care financial system solution, ContrOCC and the Youth Justice Service system, ChildView.
  • Ensure full functionality is available to users and the systems are continuously monitored, reviewed, developed and enhanced to identify and pursue opportunities for improvements.
  • Be the essential link between Sandwell Children’s Trust, Sandwell MBC ICT and software providers in relation to ContrOCC, ChildView and associated systems.
  • Understand the requirements for Youth Justice Service statutory returns and ensure a timely and accurate submission.
  • Have expertise on ContrOCC systems development but will be expected to provide support for projects that cover all systems development work carried out by the service.

You will need to have: -

  • HNC level qualification or equivalent in a Business-related area or equivalent
  • Prince2 Practitioner Level or equivalent project management qualifications
  • 3 years’ experience of partnership working with external agencies, such as Health, Police or Local Authority
  • Experience of liaising with systems suppliers
  • Knowledge of operational issues involved in implementing systems, being guided by organisation policies and the interpretation of these.
