Job Title:- Intervention Teacher or Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location:- Flash Ley Primary School, Hawksmoor Road, Stafford, ST17 9DR

Employer:- Staffordshire County Council

Contract Type:- Fixed Term from February 2022 – 20th July 2022

Working Pattern:- Standard

Working Hours:- 9 hours per week – Monday – Thursday: afternoon’s 12.45pm-3.00pm

(More hours may be needed as and when required)

Salary:- Mainscale 1 (£25,714) – 6 (£36,961) or NJC Grade 7 SCP15 (£23,541- SCP 22 (£27,071)(negotiable for the right candidate)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Flash Ley Primary School. The children, governors, staff and parents are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspiring Teacher or Higher Level Teaching Assistant to conduct interventions.

Due to the Catch-up funding that has been made available to schools, we are looking to seek a highly skilled individual to deliver intervention roles. You will be responsible for delivering small group sessions to pupils based in either Y3/4 or Y5/6, primarily in Reading, Literacy and Numeracy. You will be required to teach the core subjects and plan lessons and activities for the pupils. These sessions will be on a one to one or small group basis, in order to raise attainment.
