An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Community Warden Team for a highly motivated individual who can make a significant contribution to making Rugby a safer and cleaner community to live in, by being a recognisable presence throughout the Borough of Rugby, dealing with anti-social behaviour, environmental crimes and carrying out enforcement.
The successful candidate will possess the skills and ability to interact with a diverse range of people responding to complaints from members of the public on a reactive and proactive basis. They will also have excellent communication, observational and problem-solving skills enabling them to be able to work as part of team as well as independently in what can be a physically and mentally demanding role.
The successful candidate will be required to work on a rolling rota, with a varied shift pattern including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and public holidays. The role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and using various modes of transport including walking and riding a bike. A full driving license is required.
Successfully candidates will need to pass a security vetting through Police intelligence check and an advanced DBS check.
