Receptionist - Severndale Specialist Academy

- Scale 3 from £10.01 per hour to £10.21 per hour
- 37.5 hours per week (0.5 will be paid via overtime) for Term Time plus 5 PD days

Severndale Specialist Academy is a multi-site Academy catering for children with special educational needs in Shropshire. Our children and young people can access Severndale Specialist Academy from Reception through to Sixth Form and have a range of learning difficulties.
The Academy is seeking an experienced Receptionist to provide effective reception service and manage the smooth running of the reception area at the Monkmoor Campus of Severndale Specialist Academy.
As a Receptionist, you will be the face of the Academy to all our visitors at Severndale Specialist Academy, either meeting visitors in person or answering the telephone and dealing with questions, query's and concerns. You will need to be friendly, efficient and customer focused. The successful candidate will need to be flexible to undertake additional working hours when events take place outside of the school day e.g. parents evening.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible and friendly person to be the face of Severndale Specialist Academy. You will need to have a good telephone manner and be able to deal sensitively with a range of young people, parents and outside agencies.
Other necessary qualities include confidentiality, efficiency and being able to work on your own initiative and under pressure and a willingness to contribute to the continued improvement of our Academy.
