Night Support Worker – Exmoor Drive

Salary: £ 17,559 - £17,910

We are recruiting for 1 permanent night support workers. 35 hours per week. Your rota is always subject to change however currently the rota alternates over 2 weeks;

Week 1, 22:00-08:00 on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Week2, 22:00-08:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

We are recruiting for permanent Support Workers at Exmoor Drive, a residential care home in Bromsgrove meeting the needs of people with care and support needs due to learning disability, dementia, mental health, and physical disability. The services is currently rated as 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission inspection.

 You may or may not have experience in working in a residential setting like at Exmoor Drive. We can offer you training in all of the areas you need will need to have experience in. We are looking for applicants who can already demonstrate the right values to continue with our drive to achieve positive outcomes for those individuals using the service.

In addition to your salary, you will receive an enhancement for working between 10pm and 6am daily and a half hourly rate enhancement for working Sundays. Your shifts will be worked on a four-week rota pattern, this may be subject to amendment due to changing needs of the service.

You will receive all the training required to perform the role, which includes the Care Certificate, an intensive 2-week training package covering the essential skills and knowledge for social care work.

This role is in a CQC registered care home. Anyone working in a CQC-registered care home in England for residents requiring nursing or personal care must have 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine unless they have a medical exemption. Those shortlisted for interview will be required to show confirmation they have received 2 doses of the vaccine or are medically exempt.

Interview date: Applications will be sent weekly to the manager, and interviews shortly after.
