The school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a busy and successful SEN department. The successful candidate would ideally have experience as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant.

Clear communication and commitment to working with staff, students and parents are essential in order to provide the best learning experiences for SEND students both inside and outside the classroom.  We are looking for a dynamic colleague who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people.  Our students are enthusiastic, well-behaved and have high aspirations.  We are looking for a colleague who can offer additional support for those students who need it.

The role involves working with the school’s SENCO to offer in-class support, leading 1:1 and small group interventions and supporting teaching with teaching and learning for a student with additional needs. Being able to establish positive, professional and productive relationships as well as a robust understanding of planning, adapting and leading high quality in class support for students is key to this post.
