This is an admin role supporting the existing Early Years team in administering universal and targeted nursery education funding to schools and PVI settings.
The applicant will need to be fully computer literate including the use of Excel. They will be required to answer queries by email and phone from local providers and parents as well as processing applications, checking applications, mail shots and inputting data.
The role will also include supporting the Parent Support Team with helping to organise a wide range of training events (booking venues and refreshments, managing bookings using an online system, checking eligibility for attendance at courses, ensuring course materials are delivered in a timely manner, sending reminders for courses), processing attendance and evaluation data using Microsoft Excel, being responsible for post-course follow-ups as well as supporting the team with general administration duties such as maintaining stocks of materials (ordering/reproducing materials as necessary) and sending out marketing materials by mail shot.
You must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent and experience equivalent to Level 3 performance
