37 hours per week (Working pattern Monday to Friday)
Salary G9: £33,782- £38,890 per annum


We are seeking an experienced Social Worker with substantial post qualifying experience to work within an established Adult Locality Team

We are particularly interested in motivated and solution-focused practitioners, who are interested in helping shape and deliver our services, who can positively contribute to the development of a model of Strengths Based best practice.

You will work alongside a Team of supportive Social Care and Occupational Therapy practitioners and will be expected to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and other legal frameworks. You will be experienced and confident in working with service users and their carers in the undertaking of the full range of duties, including timely and proportionate care and support assessments,  strengths based support plans and outcome focussed reviews. You will have substantial experience of safeguarding adults together with experience of empowering service users and carers.

This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers.  The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
