Grade of Post: Soulbury grade (range 1- 4)
Temporary for 12 months to cover maternity leave, part time considered
Term time only plus 10 days pro rata
35 hours per week

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated professional who will work as an education advocate for a cohort of statutory school age Worcestershire Looked After Children, receiving education both in and out of county. As a Learning Advocate you will provide early identification and targeted intervention at the earliest opportunity and challenge the barriers to success, thereby promoting a culture of high aspiration for every CLA.
The post holder will promote high expectations for all young people in care, prioritising their educational needs to ensure they can achieve their potential and improve educational outcomes to be in line with their peers. We expect all applicants should have knowledge of and experience in learning and teaching and a strong commitment to improving educational and wider learning outcomes.
You will need to use your own initiative, possess excellent interpersonal skills, first-rate organisational skills and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines.
