Teaching Assistant Grade 2

Salary: Grade 2 Teaching Assistant - £7,254 - £7,399 (actual salary)

16.25hrs per week, working mornings

39 weeks per year

Required from 28^th February 2022

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who is looking to develop your career?

Due to a recent retirement we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive school team.

A working knowledge of supporting the national curriculum and some experience leading learning with small groups or individuals in KS2 is desirable. 

We are passionate about all members of staff developing their own skills and learning and will provide training for the successful candidate. 

Knowledge and understanding of Thrive or another similar programme that supports children’s social and emotional development is desirable but not essential.

A qualified first aider would be of benefit, or someone who is willing to undertake first aid training.

We are looking for people who are team players, proactive, hard-working, flexible, and enjoy the rewards that working with young children can bring. St. Barnabas is a great place to work and learn.  The start date can be negotiated but as close to 28^th February 2022 as possible.
