Allens Croft Primary School and Resource Base are seeking to appoint an Assistant Head Teacher, with responsibility for SEND across the school, to expand the existing Senior Leadership Team.

Ideally four days per week (Full time would be considered for a suitable candidate)

Allens Croft is a diverse, fully inclusive two-form entry school, with a Cognition and Learning Resource Base set in extensive grounds in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham.

In addition to the roles and responsibilities as laid out in the School Teacher’s Pay and Conditions Document, we are looking for an AHT who has a passion for Special Educational Needs and can effectively support additional needs within mainstream classrooms. They will have the skills to impart this knowledge and understanding to other members of staff across the school. They may be in possession of the National SENCo qualification but this is not essential, although we would expect the successful candidate to undertake this.

We have an established Inclusion Team and are a close-knit, supportive community who works hard to support each other at all times, but especially when things are particularly challenging.
