Teaching Assistant Additional Needs – Single Pupil

We require an enthusiastic and energetic SEN teaching assistant to support an individual child within a Year 5 class who has an Education Health Care Plan along with other interventions to start as soon as possible.

This is a part time fixed term post for 17.5 hours a week until 20th July 2022.

Applicants should be:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent.
  • Have experience of supporting children’s learning in a school
  • Have experience of SEN and/or KS2.
  • Have good communication skills.

The role will be on a fixed term contract for 17.5 hours per week term time only Monday to Friday: 9.00am – 12.30pm

Salary: Grade 3 £18,562 - £18,933 pa pro rata

Interviews:  Friday 4th February 2022 - if you have not been contacted by this date you can assume that you have not been successful on this occasion.

Start Date:  As soon as possible.

Unfortunately due to current conditions visits to the school will not be possible.  If you are successful for interview a tour will be included.
