After School Club Assistant - Newdale Primary School & Nursery

3pm - 6pm ( hours are negotiable) Monday - Friday

Term time only

Temporary in first instance 

Required as soon as possible

NJC Scale 2 £9.62 - £9.81 per hour

We wish to appoint a caring and enthusiastic team member to join our dedicated, committed and hardworking staff.  This team member would be working within our Afterschool club with children ranging from 5yrs to 11yrs which are arranged into different age categories accessing different indoor and outdoor areas of nursery and school.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Will assist with the planning, developing and delivery of a broad variety of play activities and childcare to children aged 5 to11yrs
  • Will ensure effective communication takes place between children, families and partners working in the out of school club activities
  • Will support and deliver innovative and creative play and leisure activities for children and young people attending out of school club provision
  • Will be responsible for the safety and welfare of the children and young people       attending the sessions
