Contract:      Fixed Term (term time only)

Hours:         25 hours per week

Pay Scale:     Grade 4 SCP 5    £13196 pro rata rate

The Governors of The Croft Primary School are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to support the needs of a child currently in Reception Class, on a 1 to 1 basis in the classroom and during lunchtime.

We are looking at appointing a friendly and professional person to work alongside our dedicated staff.  The position is for someone who holds at least Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.

The position is linked to the child’s Educational Health Care Plan and in the first instance be fixed term until April 2023, when the post/provision will be reviewed.

The successful candidate must:

• Have a good knowledge of how children learn
• Have the ability to motivate and engage children in their learning
• Be a positive role model
• Be able to work closely with a team of staff including the class teacher and SENCO
