We are seeking a caring and efficient Teaching Assistant to manage the supervision and care of a child with an EHCP. Experience of working with SEND children would be preferred.
There are two roles within the school. One in the morning and one in the afternoon each role supporting a different SEND child in Year 1. The two roles could be combined to create a full time post if appropriate. Alternatively two part time candidates will be appointed.

The successful candidate will work with the class teacher to deliver a bespoke curriculum to meet the individual needs of the child.

These posts are fixed term contracts linked directly to the EHCP funding.
Essential- Qualifications and Experience:
· Evidence of satisfactory experience as TA, with evidence of INSET undertaken.
· GCSE – English/Maths or equivalent eg adult literacy/numeracy.
· NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification/experience.
· Training relevant to post.
· Knowledge and understanding of how children develop.
· Knowledge and understanding of how to support children in developing numeracy and literacy skills.
· Knowledge and understanding of supporting children with Special Educational Needs. · Ability to use IT resources.
· Good communication skills.
· High expectations of learning and behaviour.
· Able to work constructively as part of a team whilst being able to demonstrate initiative.
· Commitment to own personal and professional development
· Reliable, honest, efficient
· Self-motivated and hardworking
· Good communication skills
· Sense of humour
· Enthusiasm, energy, imagination and forward-looking
