We are proud to have a dedicated team who strive to deliver excellence in care and education to each of the children we have in our school. Our motto is ‘Where Children Come First’. This is something we hold very dear to our moral values.

Who are we looking for?

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join our school on a permanent basis. The Office Manager will report directly to the headteacher. The job will entail contact with our parents and staff so, as well as having administrative experience, you will also need to possess excellent communication skills and have a friendly, outgoing nature.

The role will be varied and will include everything from managing the Single Central Record and census, HR support (arranging interviews, carrying out vetting checks and running DBS’s). You will also be responsible for admissions, CTF files, data returns, staff and pupil records.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have recognised management experience in all of the above areas;
  • Be a resilient individual with the ability to work under pressure and be able to meet conflicting deadlines;
  • Be an organised individual with the ability to manage different functions of the school as well as excellent communication skills (including written, oral and presentation skills);
  • Have sound knowledge of SIMS;
  • Have experience of day to day operational management and knowledge in Health and Safety, Data Protection and Safeguarding in a school environment;
  • Be confident and proactive in establishing and maintaining administrative systems for a busy school office;
  • Be a team player;
  • Have excellent relationships with children, parents and staff;
  • Have a flexible and enthusiastic attitude towards your work and have a sense of humour.

The school will consider a non-school background but candidates MUST be able to display proven experience in the above factors.

We offer:

  • Friendly, enthusiastic and well-motivated children who are eager to learn;
  • Supportive parents and Local Governing Body
  • A supportive, innovative and committed staff team with a range of expertise;
  • Excellent opportunities for professional development;
  • An exceptionally welcoming and supportive school community;
  • A culture of growth mindset where purposeful practice and effort are rewarded
  • A leadership team that is committed to staff development, teaching & learning and pupil outcomes
  • A school that is committed to ensuring that every child succeeds

Visits to the school are strongly recommended. Please telephone the school to make an appointment. Tel: 01922 660960, email office@moathall.staffs.sch.uk

The closing date is Friday 21st January 2022 and interviews will take place on Wednesday 26th January 2022.

Moat Hall Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  This post is subject to an enhanced Criminal Records check.
