£17,842 - £18,562 pro rata, per annum.

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our friendly and supportive catering team at Alderbrook Secondary School, Blossomfield Rd, Solihull B91 1SN

Working 16.25 hours per week, Term Time only.
This role could be ideal to fit in around your caring responsibilities.

Please note this position is a Fixed Term Role until 31st July 2022

You will assist with serving our healthy award winning meals, made from locally sourced, high quality ingredients, whilst ensuring levels of hygiene are maintained within the kitchen.

Your duties will include basic food preparation, preparing counters and the dining room for service, operating the cashless till system, and cleaning duties.
You will need a Level 2 Food Safety qualification, or be willing to complete and pass it within your first 12 months of service.
You will also have experience of delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a team.
Good communication skills, enthusiasm and self-motivation are also essential, to ensure we continue to deliver our catering service to the high standards we are proud to have achieved.
