Previous role(s) should demonstrate a systematic, evidence-based problem-solving approach to finding and fixing faults, and an ability to quickly adapt to working with previously unfamiliar technologies/techniques.

The role will require dealing with customers/users at all levels within the organisation, so strong verbal and written (e-mail) communication skills will be required, along with a focus on providing excellent customer service. The post holder will ideally have a proven Managed Services background with a range of demonstrable skills in the Microsoft Modern Workplace.

The post holder will be expected to have experience of technical design, proposal writing and implementation of Microsoft / Office 365 solutions.

You will be required to lead technical workshops on Modern Workplace technologies including delivery of technology specific presentations to both large and smaller workshop.

You will be expected to work with Project Managers to deliver projects and convert requirements into real life solutions.

You should evidence experience of low-level scoping of solutions, establishing stakeholder requirements and implementing Office365 hybrid Solutions.

You will be responsible for High and Low-level design within the Modern Workspace Technology space.

You should be aware of ITIL service delivery and operational processes to ensure projects are transitioned carefully into the production environment.

We are looking for someone with commitment to staying up to date with new to market technologies to deliver industry best practice service offerings. You will be expected to suggest improvements to achieve efficiency and be the 'go-to' person for Modern Workplace implementation & integration.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge products that will be part of transforming ways of working at Sandwell Council.

The skills and experience you will add to our team include:
