The Role


33.5 Hours per Week

£17,568 - £18,643 p.a. (for 33 ½ hours per week during term-time (£22,183 - £23,541 p.a. pro-rata)

Working in a supportive role in a caring environment as a TA3, you will have principle responsibility to lead our Nurture Provision. This role will involve some 1:1 work with students, as well as group work sessions, to help and support with emotional literacy and social interaction skills. You will work closely with students, families and staff members and will also include line management of TAs within the team. This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to the achievements of our young people (11–16 years) who need additional support and understanding.

You will be part of a large and supportive team of Teaching Assistants in the Learning, Intervention and Nurture Centre (the LINC) which has a great reputation for supporting students with special educational needs, disabilities, anxiety, learning barriers and multiple and complex needs. Your support as a TA3 will enable students to access a broad and balanced academic and social curriculum and to be fully included in all aspects of school life and will support the school’s vision of ‘no child left behind.’
