Independent Reviewing Officer and Conference Chair

37 hours per week

Salary £40,876 - £43,857 per annum plus Essential Car User & Market Factor SW (£1,500)

NJC Grade PO11

Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

An opportunity has risen for a qualified Social Worker to join the Independent Conference and Review Team as an IRO/ Conference Chair.

The Independent Conference and Review Team is a stable, experienced and knowledgeable team of professionals that chair Child Protection Conferences, Child in Care Reviews, LADO and Foster Carer Reviews within Telford & Wrekin.

The service works closely with internal and external partners to support the achievement of positive outcomes for children and young people in their journey through statutory services in Telford & Wrekin.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
