As part of the development and implementation of the Pathfinder Early Help approach in Northfield, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to join the Pathfinder Pastoral team in the role of Pathfinder School Worker with immediate effect.

The core purpose of the role is to work within the Pathfinder Early Help approach, with the support and supervision of a Pathfinder Coordinator and, alongside teachers and wider pastoral team in schools, addressing the needs of children and their families who need help to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside the school, in order to achieve their full potential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is interested in developing their skills in the field of formal family support.

Flexibility and willingness to travel between schools will be essential, the role also demands regular home visits to families.

The post-holder will maintain and uphold the Pathfinder values of ‘shared authority’, nurture and commitment to social justice; and also, the ethos of employing schools.
