Our children enjoy coming to school, parents and carers are proud that their children attend and staff like working here.  The successful candidate must be passionate about working with young children.  This is an exciting opportunity for a teaching assistant to join a hardworking and supportive team in a very good school.

The Governors of Christ Church Primary School are seeking to appoint a permanent Level 2 Teaching Assistant from March 2022.

Hours: 25 per week, term time only

Salary: Grade 3

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a good understanding of child development and pedagogy
  • has high expectations for all children in their care
  • is a practitioner who is able to motivate and inspire pupils through both 1:1 and small group work
  • is resourceful and committed to ensuring the highest possible standards of pupil achievement and personal development, supporting every child to flourish in all aspects of their personhood
  • is willing to contribute to the life of the school and its community
  • has a commitment to their own personal and professional development
  • is keen to work as part of a team

The successful applicant will join an exceptionally hardworking team at this large and friendly Primary School.
