We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified (QTS) inspirational, experienced, Teacher of Music to lead our vibrant and highly successful Music department, ideally joining us after Easter if at all possible, or in September.

  • A talented musician, with exceptional subject knowledge and experience of leading or the potential to lead a high performing teaching team
  • A qualified, enthusiastic and inventive teacher with the ability to develop quality and well-resourced lessons for the delivery of music across all key stages
  • A creative and well organised teacher with a passion for their subject and for encouraging music making throughout the school
  • A teacher who is committed to delivering active and engaging learning, which enthuses young people and motivates them to want to succeed.
  • An individual capable of working collaboratively to develop effective, creative and innovative teaching and learning strategies across our team.
  • A teacher who can set targets that stretch and challenge students of all backgrounds, abilities and dispositions.
  • A teacher with a continued commitment to their own professional development
