Haughton School is a primary special educational needs provision for children with moderate / complex learning difficulties. Children also have additional needs that may relate to communication & interaction difficulties, social, emotional and mental health difficulties, sensory and physical / medical needs.
We are looking for an experienced administrator to join the Haughton admin team. You must be methodical with good attention to detail, a flexible approach and the ability to get things done; but also, kind, resilient and approachable within the fast-paced environment in which you will be working. The school office is the friendly and welcoming face of Haughton school.
You will be part of a small but efficient team of admin colleagues who reflect the values and ethos of the school in everything they do.
Under the guidance of the Business Manager, Headteacher and Senior staff, you will be responsible for undertaking general administrative, financial and organisational processes within the school; and assist with the planning and development of support services.
The duties of this role are varied and may alter as time progresses to reflect the changes to systems, processes and infrastructure.
Office cover is required Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm. Within a 37-hour week, you will liaise with the Business Manager and admin colleagues to ensure appropriate levels of cover. It is anticipated that you will generally work the same hours – but flexibility will be required at times including afterschool events or emergency situations.
