We are looking to appoint a Pupil Administrator with a minimum GCSE grade C in English and maths, to lead on pupil administration, including admissions and leavers, registration, attendance, census and systems connected to pupils. You will take overall responsibility for all aspects of pupil administration. The role is an important one and includes responsibility for liaising with the school’s Attendance Officer in relation to attendance matters.

As this is a prominent role that will have contact with children and parents as well as staff and the general public, we are looking for a friendly person with a positive attitude, who is  able to manage peak time workload when dealing with several demands at once and still retain a sense of humour!

You will already be skilled in the use of IT and may have used the Integris data base system. You need to be able to work independently and part of a team. You need to be highly organised and flexible as there is a seasonal element of work to this role.

The hours of work will be 30 hours per week, to be worked each day between 8.00am - 2.30pm (30 mins lunch), for 41 weeks of the year; i.e. term time plus 5 training days plus two weeks across the school holidays.

An information pack including a job description, person specification and an application form is available from school website.

Blackwood School is committed to the protection and safety of its pupils. We hold child safeguarding as a priority. On interview applicants will be asked for photo identification and proof of qualifications. Successful applicants will be subject to enhanced DRB checks.
