Salary: £30,492 - £32,851 per annum
Full-Time: 35 hours
Location: Couty Hall Campus, Worcester
Temporary: 12 months

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced, self-motivated, positive and committed Project Manager, on a 12-month fixed term contract, to work within the Transformation and Commercial Directorate. 

We’ll look to you to develop and manage a wide variety of transformation projects within the programme portfolios across Worcestershire County Council and Worcestershire Children First. 

You’ll work with partners, sponsors, and business leads to implement solutions to ensure our transformation programmes are aligned to corporate and strategic priorities and the medium-term financial plan. Supported by a Programme Portfolio Lead, you’ll ensure the projects are delivered in a robust, efficient, and coordinated manner to deliver benefits and improved outcomes across the county.

Your Background

You will need to be self-reliant, able to work to tight and changing timelines, have excellent communication skills, experience of project management methodologies, and able to think innovatively to achieve the best outcomes for people and communities of Worcestershire.

Successful candidates will be able to tangibly demonstrate experience and ability to meet the person specification criteria, in particular:

• Substantial relevant experience of large project/programme and /or change management activity within a complex organisation. 
• Significant experience of managing people through working with a wide range of stakeholders 
• Significant experience of change management techniques and their application
