A fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified Teacher to join Entrusts Education Improvement Services.

As a Specialist Teacher Consultant, you will provide Special Educational Needs & Disabilities support, advice, and challenge to the Early Years private, voluntary and independent (PVI) sector as well as maintained schools and academies. The role is also to develop our traded services and increase traded revenue.

You will be working and leading a team of highly motivated and professional school improvement advisers and in your specialist area you will provide strategic direction, empower team members, and secure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The role will be field based therefore you must have own transport.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Contributing to the strategic direction of Entrust alongside your Head of Service
  • Supporting the delivery of agreed business strategy and business plans with leading and contributing to invitation to tender ITT and framework opportunities
  • Preparing, delivering, and supporting training and consultancy across the EY portfolio including pupil casework
  • Actively contributing to Entrusts traded services. Researching and identifying potential new markets and opportunities
  • Representing Entrust in a range of forums and partnership events, own and manage client relationship to nurture business opportunities
  • Leading and contributing to regular team meetings and appropriate supervision of team members including QA of reports and staff utilisation and capacity.

What we’re looking for:

  • An excellent track record of leadership and delivery of significant improvements in quality across a range of educational establishments but particularly in relation to EY and SEND.
  • An excellent knowledge of a school/EY environment with evidence of working collaboratively with other agencies in these areas
  • A flexible proactive approach with the ability to work independently and be intrinsically motivated
  • Ability to establish and build positive working relationships at all levels
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and IT skills with good organisational, time management and problem solving
  • Up to date knowledge of appropriate regulatory frameworks
